Hey, could you tell me how you created these textures?  You mentioned using outdated or abandoned programs, what are they? Thank you!

(1 edit)

The textures in this pack were created using Infinity Textures and Texture Maker by Reichert Software! You can find a huge list of all the tools that I use (both currently available and unavailable) on the main Screaming Brain Studios website, HERE!

Hi, can I change the textures, that is, add text or make the entire texture pixelated?

Absolutely! You can use them in any way that you want!

For some reason, the Download pay link sent me to Texture Pack 1, so I ended up double-donating, but I figure it's fine... it all goes the same place. :) These are nice!

I just saw that!! I don't have a clue why it did that, but I'm glad it wasn't too much, and quite glad you like the textures! Thank you so much for your support!

Thank you!

What software specifically did you use to make this? (or at least is there any modern equivalents? I can't find anything like this)

These were actually made using a very old, unavailable tool called Infinity Textures, but the company that made it no longer exists or provides new licenses/downloads, sadly.. The closest modern PAID alternative might be Adobe Substance, however it can be a bit pricy. While some good FREE alternatives would likely be NeoTextureEdit, TextureLab, or Material Maker, they all work using a non-destructive procedural 'flow-chart' style workflow that may be more user-friendly and easier to learn, compared to the way Infinity Textures worked using a destructive series of 'steps' and 'functions' applied one by one.

I am slowly putting together some more tutorials using software such as GIMP or Photoshop for this kind of texture work, though the process can be a bit more complicated when using standard image editing software compared to how it would be in a specialized texture authoring tool.

And the floor, walls and ceilings (Not the brick wall though) use a your pack! I just used an image pixelator to lower the resolution. Thank you!
