Cubemap Splitter

A FREE Cubemap Splitter utility for splitting Cubemaps or Panoramas into 6 individual frames, stitching them back together, or converting between types!

The Cubemap Splitter can load any Horizontal or Vertical Cross Cubemap in any format (*.jpg, *.jpeg, *.png, *.bmp, or *.hdr) and will split it into its 6 component frames. It is also possible to load any 2:1 Panorama or Cubemap and convert it to the other. In addition, if you select and import 6 Cubemap images, they can be stitched together and re-exported as a Horizontal Cross or Panorama. Exported images will be saved as *.png files to any selected folder.

• Convert Panorama (2:1) to Cubemap (4:3)
• Convert Cubemap (4:3 or 3:4) to Panorama (2:1)
• Split Cubemap / Panorama into 6 individual faces
• Stitch 6 individual faces into Horizontal Cross Cubemap or Panorama

Particularly useful for anyone working with the Cloudy Skyboxes or Planet Surface Skyboxes packs, this tool will allow you to convert between formats or split any of the skybox images into individual parts.

Be sure to read the included README file for detailed information on how to use the Cubemap Splitter utility. I have not had the opportunity to fully test every file format or high-resolution images, so please let me know if you run into any issues and I'll do what I can to address things in future updates. This tool is essentially complete, but I'd be happy to make adjustments or modifications, if any are needed.
